I really don’t like eating in my cars. The potential for messes or smells is just too great, b ut these days it’s becoming the new normal and I’ll just have to adapt. I found this desk thingy for less than $10 and figure that it might make the experience a little neater and easier. Sadly, it won’t transform my Mazda5 into a Vanagon Westfalia but perhaps it’ll get it a little closer. Now to get the refrigerator between the middle seats working again...

What the heck interior is that? Odyssey Elite?

No idea, but that’s probably a pretty good guess. A quick GIS didn’t come up with a match.

The steering wheel and door controls are consistent with a pre-2011 Odyssey (though I've never seen one with wood grain accents). That said, it would not shock me if it’s actually a Pilot since they’re a similar size, share a similar/same engine, etc..

I’m frankly shocked how hard finding a non-watermarked photo of a messy high chair without child in frame is. You get the point at least even if my delivery is lacking.

As a fellow traveler who also hates eating in his car, where did you find that, and what’s it called?

Found on FleaBay by searching for ‘car desk’ (I think...)

I’ve seen these joked about heavily before (since the implication is you’re using them while driving, when in reality they were invented for PARKED mobile offices or meals). I honestly didn’t know they were still made!
Car looks like a JDM Odyssey, that’s my best guess. Not US, they never put wood trim in the van (or Pilot) AFAIK.

No wood in the US Ody or Pilot...I’m thinking JDM Odyssey and some of the GIS seems pretty close.

LHD seems unlikely in a JDM vehicle.

I was a little cavalier with JDM, I should have said the JDM-based Odyssey (aka “International Odyssey”). This one is probably China.
